Is the Mammoth Nova Sun energy-efficient?
Yes. With models ranging from 2.6–3.1 µmol/J PPE and optimized photon output across the PAR spectrum, the Nova Sun Series produces more usable light per watt than HPS or blue LEDs. Older HPS fixtures average ~1.3 µmol/J, double-ended HPS peak at 1.7–2.1 µmol/J, while Nova Sun pushes past 3.0 µmol/J.
